Music for white people can include genres such as country, alternative, classical, EDM, pop, and rap. Depending on the person their taste in music will vary. Still to this day, our music has been able to speak volumes while having a good beat to rock to. Now there is a common misconception that ' Black people only listen to Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B'  when that is definitely not true. Our music palette is much more diverse than what people think. Greek Life at colleges and universities is a very popular extra curricular activity for students to take part in. Depending on the school, there are many Greek Life groups which students can choose from that fit their opinions and outlook on issues. Joining a fraternity or a sorority allows for students to meet new people and stay involved in the school and community. Since the start of sports in America only white athletes were allowed to participate in sports such as football, baseball, basketball, soccer, field hockey, softball etc. Around the 1950's that all changed when Jackie Robinson became the first black man to enter the baseball field and help make a path for black athletes all over the world to enter white dominated sports.  In present day sports both basketball and football are dominated by black athletes. They fill 80% of the NBA roster and 67% of the NFL roster. It's not that white athletes in these sports aren't good, but they aren't trying out for the sport in high school or college where they will get noticed by scouts.  via GIPHY In one survey taken at a high school 40% of the black students played basketball while only 15% are white.
