Hello everyone!  I'm Elise I am a college student in Maryland, where I currently study Digital Marketing. I love sports such as basketball and golf, I even play golf for my University. My favorite professional sports teams are all Philadelphia based: Phillies, Eagles, 76er's, and the Flyers. Black Athletes Dominating Sports

Throughout history, African Americans have repeatedly been in situations where they have to prove themselves worthy or capable of performing certain actions. A wise man once told me, "In life, you will always have to work harder than the next person just because you're black". This is why achievements are so highly celebrated in the black community; also where the term ' Black Excellence ' comes from. From The Beginning Ever since back in a day, Blacks were only looked at as being useful for sports; basketball and football specifically. So we took that and ran with it. We have had many who have in excelled in several sports. Everything from basketball and football to tennis and gymnastics. History in the making For example, Simone Biles. Simone first came on the scene in 2016 in the Olympics, competing in individual all-around, vault and floor gold medalist, and balance-beam bronze medalist.
