Music for white people can include genres such as country, alternative, classical, EDM, pop, and rap. Depending on the person their taste in music will vary. Still to this day, our music has been able to speak volumes while having a good beat to rock to. Now there is a common misconception that ' Black people only listen to Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B'  when that is definitely not true. Our music palette is much more diverse than what people think. Some genres that most African Americans enjoy listening to are: Blues Jazz Gospel Hip Hop R&B  Pop Rap/Trap Music Now the type of genres a person likes to listen to can also depend on their age group as well. For example, my parents don't like listening to a lot of Rap and Hip Hop. They are more of Jazz, Blues, and Gospel lovers.
